The Villa is built in traditional materials. It is single story with large open spaces. The decoration and furnishing have been designed with location shooting and photography in mind. The Villa is available 7 days a week. With easy vehicle and equipment access, the Villa offers a flexible service in a truly stunning location. The villa offers front, side, and rear garden surrounded by a hand built character stone wall. The internal walls are white and approximately 15-20 feet high. All the ceilings slope and have large wooden beams. The exterior has been painted and washed to give the patina effect of an ancient Roman villa, complete with red tiled roof. Granite columns support the oak beamed roof of the 44m (500 sq. ft) terrace. Floored throughout in natural rustic tiles, all the building materials had to be personally approved by the Aga Khan before construction commenced There are 159 sq meters (1700 sq. ft.) of landscaped garden and 44 sq. meters (500 sq. ft) of terrace offering a beautiful photographic setting, and also an accessible overflow for props. There are 4 separate doors that enter the property from the front, side and rear.
The location, stunning beaches, and facilities make this a low cost alternative to long haul travel and an ideal option to UK shooting particularly where an outdoor location is preferred. The weather is mostly sunny from March to November.
